My favorite Sydney Sheldon book.You can even finish this thrilling multi threaded novel in one night. This story tells about the life of an ambitious young girl(Jennifer parker) who became the busiest advocate in the city from scratch. This book goes through not only the successful professional career of Jennifer but also her failed love.

And then comes the villain( Michel Moratti) of the story. Believe me! this would be one among the very few novels where I really liked the Villain. While reading the chapters on moratti, We can fell his power as his character is exceptionally depicted in this book.

But, nothing is permanent, so wasn't Jennifer's successful career. The main thread of this book is Jennifer's career and the unexpected fall happened there. But the girl won't give up. She chose the negative way( Moratti) to recover and she had to pay for it.

A thrilling, beautifully crafted page turner.
